Volotea opens its eighth base in Italy — and twenty-second in Europe — in Ancona, with operations expected to start in December 2026. An Airbus A320 aircraft will be based at the airport, generating 30 new direct jobs and approximately 170 indirect jobs.
The airline, which has operated in Ancona since its founding in 2012, has carried more than 1.2 million passengers to date, registering a load factor of 95% by June 2026..."
