International tourism in Brazil maintains strong growth in 2026, with spending by foreign tourists reaching 33.6 billion reais between January and July, an all-time high and +9.4% compared to the same period in 2025.
The country received 5.87 million international tourists, approaching the annual target of 7.5 million.
Argentina led the source markets, followed by Chile, the USA, Uruguay and Paraguay. Business tourism also broke a record, moving R$ 8.4 billion (+8.1%).
