Flight supply in Germany remains practically stable in the second half of the year

27 July 2026

The supply of seats on flights to, from and within Germany is expected to grow by just 1% in the second half of 2026, reaching 93% of the level recorded in 2019, according to the German Aviation Industry Association (BDL). While domestic connections continue to decrease, the tourism segment maintains a positive evolution and already exceeds pre-pandemic levels. Smaller regional airports perform more strongly than large hubs, benefiting from the companies' commitment to leisure routes and visits to family and friends.
