EuroAirport, Basel-Mulhouse's French-Swiss airport, has presented its flight schedule for winter 2026-2027, which starts on October 25. Portugal is among the main destinations, alongside Spain, Italy, Greece, Morocco and Turkey. Until March 27, 2027, 20 airlines will offer 89 direct routes to 31 countries.
The airport also provides access to the hubs of Paris (Air France), Amsterdam (KLM), Frankfurt and Munich (Lufthansa) and Istanbul (AJet, Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines). For the summer of 2027, Air Canada opens a direct route to Montreal from June 17, with 4 flights per week, and easyJet joins Pantelleria, Sicily, from May. Sarajevo and Tivat, Montenegro, are added with 2 flights per week each. The boarding areas of the Gates Sud will be expanded from 2027, with entry into service scheduled in spring 2028.
Portugal's presence in the winter program ensures direct connections to travelers from the East of France during the low season. The novelties of summer 2027 will, however, go to emerging and transatlantic destinations, which recalls the competition that Portugal faces in this French region.
