Observatório do Turismo da Madeira marca presença no UMa Science Days 2026

The Tourism Observatory of the University of Madeira is present at the UMa Science Days 2026 with three scientific posters that highlight the diversity of research developed in the area of tourism, innovation and regional development.

The titles of the posters were as follows:
📌 Qualified Employment – Remuneration in the Sector: Skills and Salary Enhancement in Madeira
📌 Tourism Determinants of Tourist Loyalty in Madeira Island: Evidence from the Annual Tourist Survey
📌 The Role of the State, Enterprises and Universities in Building Responsible Innovation Ecosystems in Portugal: Evidence from the Autonomous Region of Madeira


As part of an event that takes place between 24 and 27 June 2026 and which promotes the valorization of knowledge, the transfer of technology and the approximation between academia, companies and society, the Observatory contributes to the debate of some of the most relevant topics for the future of Madeira: the qualification of employment, the competitiveness of the tourist destination and collaborative innovation.

The science produced at the University of Madeira continues to generate knowledge with regional and international impact, reinforcing the role of the region as a space for innovation, development and value creation for society.
