TDA predicts recovery of last-minute bookings for the summer

According to Roland Gassner, director of Travel Data + Analytics (TDA), the German tourism market is recovering after the drop in bookings caused by the conflict in the Middle East. Last-minute bookings for the summer are evolving positively and could allow the season to end with a 3-4% growth in revenue, while the number of travelers is expected to remain at the level of 2025. Destinations accessible by car and markets such as mainland Spain, Morocco, Albania and Montenegro are among the main beneficiaries of the current demand.
