Swiss airports recorded a new all-time high in the first quarter of 2026, with 13.3 million passengers in scheduled and charter traffic, an increase of 5% compared to the same period last year.
The fastest growing destinations were Turkey and Italy, reflecting strong demand for international travel. Despite the increase in passengers, the number of air movements rose only slightly, indicating greater efficiency in the operation of airlines.
