Porto enters the top 10 of searches for flights by the French to Todos os Santos

16 October 2026

Porto ranks 7th among the most searched destinations from France for All Saints' holidays, according to the September 2026 barometer of the online agency Bourse des Vols. It is the only destination Portuguese the top 10 and a new entry, as it did not appear in the previous year's ranking. Marrakech leads (21 more places), ahead of Algiers, Réunion, Tunis and Bangkok, and Casablanca gains 13 places.

In the set of September searches from France, Saint-Denis de Réunion maintains 1st place (-33%), ahead of Algiers (-4%) and Bangkok (+17%). Marrakech (+40%), Oran (+24%) and Tunis (+34%) progress, and Palma de Mallorca registers the strongest increase (+199%). By airport, Palma de Mallorca rises 580% in Bordeaux and Tenerife 475% in Nantes, while in Lyon Algiers it rises 217%. The figures refer to searches and not to actual bookings.

According to Caroline Gachet, director of marketing and e-commerce at Bourse des Vols, September confirms an active search for the best price on dry flights and, for Todos os Santos, a preference for "affordable sun", without losing the demand for long-haul flights. The presence of Porto alongside Marrakech, Algiers and Tunis shows that Portugal is the choice of French people looking for short-haul sun, in a market where Spanish destinations continue to be direct competitors in dry flights.
