The Reisebürospiegel of Tats reveals a decrease of 0.7% in the turnover of German travel agencies in September 2026, keeping the year-to-date at the level of 2025. Sales of tourist trips, including cruises, fell by 6.3%, while cruises recorded growth of 5.7% in the month, but only 1% in the year as a whole. New bookings also decreased by 8.2%, and the tourist booking portfolio up to October was 4.5% below the previous year. In the airline segment, turnover grew by only 0.5% in September, although it remains 1.1% above 2025 in the year; the number of tickets issued has fallen by 12.2% since the beginning of the year. Revenues from other services increased 7.7% in the month.
