Artificial intelligence is gaining importance in travel planning, but it is still far from replacing the advice of travel agencies. A study by the research institute Centouris reveals that AI is mainly used to seek inspiration, compare destinations, prices and plan itineraries, especially among younger travelers. However, in the booking phase, most continue to privilege human contact, valuing trust, personalized support and assistance in case of unforeseen events. Transparency in the use of AI and the protection of personal data are also decisive factors for the uptake of this technology.
