The month of July confirmed the excellent performance observed throughout the year. The Aeroporti di Puglia company registered a total of 1,435,050 passengers (departures and arrivals), representing an increase of 12.7% compared to the same month of the previous year. Of this total, 973,014 passengers transited through Bari (+13.3%) and 456,715 through Brindisi (+12.2%). International traffic figures were particularly significant, reaching 648,575 passengers in Bari (+19.9%) and 175,182 in Brindisi (+23.7%).

Year-to-date, total passenger traffic (departures and arrivals) in the first seven months was 7,153,971, an increase of 10.9% compared to the same period in 2025. Of this total, 3,548,189 passengers flew on scheduled domestic flights (+2.9%) and 3,557,000 (+21%) on regular international flights. Passenger traffic at Salento Airport in Brindisi totalled 2,156,974 (+10%) – an increase from the 1,961,235 recorded in the first seven months of 2025 – while international traffic reached 634,827 passengers, for a growth of 23.6%. At Karol Wojtyla Airport in Bari, the number of passengers (departures and arrivals) totaled 4,964,218 (+11.7%) in the first seven months of 2026. While the number of domestic passengers grew by 1.6% compared to the previous year, the increase in international traffic was significantly more significant (+20.5%), from 2,424,888 passengers in 2025 to 2,922,173 in 2026.
