Tourism Outlook - February 2025

In January and February 2025, the tourist accommodation sector registered 3.4 million guests (+4.1%) and 7.8 million overnight stays (+1.4%), generating 549.9 million euros in total revenue (+8.5%) and, of those, 397.8 million euros in room revenue (+8.3%).

By February 2025, tourism receipts had reached 3 billion euros, 6.2% more than in the same period of the previous year. According to data released by the Portuguese Central Bank, on April 16, 2025, the markets with the highest year-on-year growth were the USA (+9.9%), Germany (+8.8%) and the Netherlands (+7.4%)
