Tourism Outlook - September 2024

The tourist accommodation sector registered 3.3 million guests and 8.4 million overnight stays in September 2024. The guests increased 2.8% and the overnights rised 2.4% compared to the same month of 2023. 

Total revenue increased 12.0%, reaching 796,0 million euros, and revenue from accommodation reached 623.8 million euros, reflecting a growth of 12.7%.

Until September 2024, overnight stays reached 63.5 million and increased by 3.9%; and guests rised 4.8% to 24,6 million guests. 

Total revenue, which achieved 5.326,4 million euros until September 2024, grew by 10.7%, and revenue from accommodation, which reached 4.130,9 million euros, grew in a positive way: +10.7%.

The tourism receipts registered 3,007.4 million euros in September, an increase of 8.9% compared to the same month of 2023.
