Tourism Outlook - July 2024

The tourist accommodation sector registered 3.2 million guests and 9.0 million overnight stays in July 2024. The guests increased 1.5% and the overnights rised 2.1% compared to the same month of 2023. 

Total revenue increased 7.2%, reaching 803,0 million euros, and revenue from accommodation reached 640.4 million euros, reflecting a growth of 7.7%.

Until July 2024, overnight stays reached 44.5 million and increased by 4.1% (+0.6% for residents and +5.5% for non-residents).

Total revenue, which achieved 3.580,6 million euros until July 2024, grew by 11.1%, and revenue from accommodation, which reached 2.740,2 million euros, grew in a positive way: +11.0%.

The tourism receipts registered 3,374.7 million euros in July, an increase of 9,1% compared to the same month of 2023.
