Tourism Outlook - October 2024

The tourist accommodation sector registered 3.0 million guests and 7.6 million overnight stays in October 2024. The guests increased 3.8% and the overnights rised 2.5% compared to the same month of 2023. 

Total revenue increased 9.9%, reaching 644,1 million euros, and revenue from accommodation reached 490,2 million euros, reflecting a growth of 10.7%.

Until October 2024, overnight stays reached 71.1 million and increased by 3.7%; and guests rised 4.7% to 27,6 million guests. 

Total revenue, which achieved 5.969,1 million euros until October 2024, grew by 10.6%, and revenue from accommodation, which reached 4.619,4 million euros, grew in a positive way: +10.7%.
