Tourism Outlook - April 2024

The tourist accommodation sector registered 2.6 million guests and 6.6 million overnight stays in April 2024. The guests decreased 3.6% and the overnights reduced 4.2% compared to the same month of 2023. 

Total revenue increased 3.4%, reaching 508.8 million euros, and revenue from accommodation reached 383.7 million euros, reflecting a growth of 2.8%.

Until April 2024, overnight stays reached 20.0 million and increased by 3.2% (-1.7% for residents and +5.4% for non-residents).

Total revenue, which achieved 1.421,4 million euros until April 2024, grew by 10.6%, and revenue from accommodation, which reached 1.054,1 million euros, grew in a positive way: +10.3%.

The tourism receipts registered 2,058.3 million euros in April, an increase of 6,2% compared to the same month of 2023.
