Assesses the evolution of the special collection of waste, object of separate disposal by the holder, with the purpose of being recycled, in relation to the tourist activity (overnight stays).​ The implementation of a system for the collection of different types of waste implies that there is a quality and environmental management policy, based on objectives and processes to achieve commitments related to quality and the environment. It also implies taking periodic actions to continuously improve performance, in addition to reflecting the institutions' level of involvement in environmental preservation.
